heynannyly: Online portal places nannies
Anyone who needs reliable childcare at short notice often faces major difficulties. With their placement platform www.heynannyly.de, founders Julia Kahle and Anna Schneider want to relieve parents of this worry.
Finding reliable childcare for children, even at short notice if necessary - the two founders know this problem from two perspectives. Anna regularly worked as a babysitter alongside her job and parents were always complaining about how difficult it was to organize reliable childcare for their children, even at short notice. As a working mother of two children, co-founder Julia is used to planning her everyday life to perfection. Last-minute changes to plans were often difficult to implement.
"When my husband and I had to reorganize at short notice, it was incredibly difficult to coordinate."

From idea to business
The need for a reliable matchmaking service was obvious and existing portals did not meet the high standards of the two founders. They wanted to do things better and launched their start-up heynannyly. Potential nannies and parents can simply register on the website and are thus brought together. The company's service goes far beyond just matching: the focus is on easy use of the portal, fair payment and building a relationship of trust.
"It's about trust and the most important things in our lives: Our children and ourselves."
- Anna Schneider, Founder -
All nannies are personally checked
The founders pay particular attention to the selection of their nannies. Applicants must provide valid documents - both founders were surprised that this is not common practice on many portals. References and an extended certificate of good conduct are also requested. The founders get a personal impression of the applicants in a video interview. Parents can also access short video clips on the profile pages in which the nannies introduce themselves.
Nannies with insurance cover
The nannies can set their own hourly rate, with a minimum of 12 euros. Heynannyly charges an additional fee of two euros for referrals and five euros for short-term bookings within 24 hours. This also includes commercial liability insurance for the period of care. The nannies also receive training and qualifications, for example in first aid for babies and toddlers.
The path to your own business
The two founders of heynannyly have turned their idea into a business. The service is currently available in Munich, but the company aims to be available in all major German cities in the medium term.
